PROCESS AND ORGANIZATION DESIGN

Organizational structure and business processes need to be designed in line with corporate strategies. This is because corporate strategies achieve their objectives only to the extent of the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization and processes that will implement them.

The activities that include defining the processes, identifying their owners, determining the needs, monitoring their performance with the necessary measurements and making improvements constitute process management. Process management aims to eliminate uncertainties and inefficiencies. To realize this:

- Functional objectives should not take precedence over organizational goals

- Clarification of responsibilities

- Ensuring ownership

- Identification of repetitive activities

- Communication problems need to be identified and addressed.

The Organizational Design service area covers the design of organizational structures, roles and responsibilities, competencies and performance measures. This work also includes the design of the authorization model.
